Description
Coruña del Conde is a winery in the Ribera del Duero region of Spain, dedicated to the production of high quality wines using organic and biodynamic farming techniques. I'm Natural Don't Panic From Patio Orange is one of their most recent wines, made from Tempranillo grapes.
Winemaking
First, the grapes are grown using sustainable and ecosystem-friendly farming practices, such as compost and natural fertilisers, crop rotation and biological pest control.
Once the grapes have reached optimum ripeness, they are harvested by hand, destemmed and pressed to extract the must, which is fermented in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts.
During fermentation, maceration is carried out to extract the wine's components and give it colour, aroma and flavour. At the end of fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels for a period of 6 months.
Finally, the wine is bottled and left to settle in the cellar to allow the flavours to integrate and the wine to stabilise.
Taste
This wine has an intense and bright red colour, with aromas of ripe red fruits, spices. It has hints of vanilla and toast from its ageing in oak barrels. In the mouth it is balanced and smooth, with silky tannins and a fresh acidity that makes it very easy to drink.
