Description
Augalevada Crianza Biológica Treixadura is a very particular white wine in this winery, as it has become a pioneer in the application of biodynamic techniques, ageing under flor.
It is a white wine made from the Treixadura grape variety, grown in vineyards between 15 and 40 years old, composed of decomposed granite and gneiss soils, which largely determine the flavour of the fruit.
Augalevada Crianza Biológica Treixadura is defined as a deep white wine, but at the same time it leaves in the mouth the freshness and minerality that comes from the effort of seeking the natural expression of the fruit and the land.
Winemaking
Augalevada Crianza Biológica is the result of the application of biodynamic agriculture, which includes the integration of plant-based preparations.
The grapes are also harvested using traditional techniques and the process is divided into several stages, so that the grapes arrive at the winery at a crisp point.
Once the fruit is in the winery, the grapes are gently pressed and then left to macerate and ferment for a period of 28 days. After this period of time, the fruit is transferred to barrels and vats to complete the fermentation process and to be aged for 10 months.
Taste
Augalevada Crianza Biológica has a golden yellow colour that denotes the elegance that defines it. As for the aroma, it has tones of white fruits and dried fruits that balance and give an earthy touch. On the palate it is fresh but unctuous at first, light on the palate, but with good volume.
