Description
Terroir al Límit Terra de Cuques Blanc is a rich and textured expression of Priorat. This wine comes from the slate and clay vines of La Morera del Montsant, which are between 25 and 30 years old. It is located at an altitude of between 400 and 600 metres above sea level. The blend is composed of 60% Garnacha Blanca and 40% Pedro Ximénez.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented with whole bunches for 5 days in stainless steel and cement tanks. Afterwards, the wine is aged for 6 months in cement.
Taste
Terra de Cuques Blanc presents itself with a rich, fino-like character, but as it develops on the palate, it reveals remarkable tension and freshness. Citrus layers of white currant, plum and spring flowers are prominent, offering a singular expression that defies traditional expectations of a white wine.
