Description
Movia Exto Gredič is born in the Goriška Brda region (ZGP Brda), on the Slovenian side of the Collio region, this wine is made from a 100% Sauvignonasse (Tocai Friulano) grape variety.
Winemaking
The grapes, hand-picked in mid-September from the Gredič vineyards, go through a meticulous vinification process. Once destemmed and sorted, the grapes undergo a 12-hour cold maceration with whole berries. Subsequently, they are pressed and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts begins. This wine is aged for 6 months on the lees in stainless steel tanks, which gives it its characteristic flavour and texture.
Taste
Movia Exto Gredič displays pronounced aromas reminiscent of pear, green apple, redcurrant, yellow grapefruit and lemon zest. In addition, notes of jasmine flower, grass, green tea and white pepper can be found. Its smooth flavour fills the mouth and refreshes it pleasantly, while the minerality leaves its mark. It is particularly refreshing and lively, with an intense flavour. It is elegant, medium-textured and long-lasting. Perceptions of green fruits and citrus also recur on the palate. It is ideal to enjoy with sashimi, fish carpaccio or raw meat and seafood.
