Luis Pérez Tintilla Carrascal is a unique expression of Jerez viticulture. This wine is made exclusively from the Tintilla variety, a grape native to Andalusia, known for its adaptation to semi-warm climates and its ability to produce high quality red wines. Tintilla de Carrascal is grown in the Finca El Corregidor del Pago de Carrascal, in soils of albariza de barajuelas, which give the wine a remarkable purity and expression.
Winemaking
The elaboration of this Luis Pérez Tintilla Carrascal begins with a manual and night harvest, in order to preserve the freshness of the grapes. The grapes are carefully selected on the table and 60% of them are vinified without destemming in stainless steel tanks and open barrels for 30 days. This meticulous process, which includes little pumping over, seeks to respect the softness and elegance of the variety. The wine is aged for approximately 12 months in six-year-old wooden barrels, followed by a few months in tank before bottling.

Luis Pérez Tintilla Carrascal stands out for its sapidity, a spicy nose and, above all, a saline and chalky sensation that shows a great expression of purity.
