Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2014 Crianza is the first vintage where not all wines are from Briones, as they bought all the vineyards that belonged to Bodegas Breton, so some grapes were sourced from Moncalvillo. The uncrushed grapes fermented in stainless steel and the wine matured for 12 months. It's quite ripe, with some creamy and spicy notes, some softness and a little blurry. The palate reveals some herbal flavors and spiky tannins. Better with food. 500,000 bottles produced.
Between 14ºC and 16ºC
Aged for 12 months in used French oak barrels.
