The 2022 El Jardín de Lucía an Albariño from Salnés was produced by Zarate in Rías Baixas. It's a bit reductive, quite aromatic and terpenic, even with reminiscences of a Sauvignon Blanc. With air, it gets more focused and has more varietal aromas of freshly cut grass and a bitter twist in the finish. It's balanced and velvety, approachable and easy to drink, with good ripeness and 13% alcohol. It should be better with some more time in bottle.
