Description
Cinque Campi Bora Lunga is a tribute to the local tradition and style of white wines with skin contact. Produced in a vineyard planted in 1948, this wine is made from 90% Spergola grapes and 10% Moscato Giallo, a combination that gives it a distinctive and authentic character. The vineyard, rich in silica and clay, has witnessed the passage of time and has provided grapes of exceptional quality for the production of this wine.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand in small boxes, destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks, in contact with the skins for 4-5 days. Subsequently, the wine spends 12 months in cement tanks and another 6 months in the bottle. It is bottled unfiltered, unclarified and without the addition of sulphur, which guarantees its purity and authenticity.
Taste
Cinque Campi Bora Lunga is fresh, acidic, bright and light. Everything is in balance in this wine: you can perceive notes of exotic fruits and apple pie on the nose, courtesy of the Moscato grape, enhanced by a citrus palate balanced with a touch of wet stone and a soft tannic touch. It is a very pleasant, skilfully crafted orange wine, perfect even for those who are a little tired of the orange wines category.
