Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The second single-vineyard Garnacha is the 2015 Corral de los Altos, sourced from a 43-year-old plot of 2.1 hectares on a north-facing stony part of the village of Fitero. It fermented in 5,000-liter stainless steel vats with indigenous yeasts and matured in 500-liter barrels for nine months. This feels somehow riper and not as expressive and clear as the Malayeto. It's still a pretty good value. 5,900 bottles were filled in February 2017.
Between 14ºC and 16ºC
Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in wooden vats. Aged for 9 months in French oak barrels.
