Description
Més Ritme Blanc is an authentic expression of the DOQ Priorat, a renowned wine region in Spain. This white wine is distinguished by the fact that it is made exclusively from Garnacha Blanca, a noble variety that represents 100% of its composition. The vineyards where this Garnacha Blanca comes from are between 20 and 80 years old and are located in different municipalities of the DOQ Priorat, such as Poboleda, Porrera, Bellmunt, El Molar, El Lloar and Cornudella, at altitudes ranging from 300 to 650 metres above sea level. The characteristic soil of these vineyards is licorella (slate), a soil that contributes significantly to the wine's profile.
Winemaking
Més Ritme Blanc is made with a deep respect for the grape, seeking to maximise the varietal expressiveness of these indigenous grapes. The process includes a cold maceration for two days to extract the maximum character from the grapes. Fermentation takes place 30% in new French oak barrels and 70% in stainless steel tanks, followed by joint ageing with the wine lees for 11 months. This method of winemaking brings complexity and structure to the wine, while maintaining the purity and freshness of the fruit.
Taste
Més Ritme Blanc is characterised by a yellow colour with greenish edges. Its aroma is an amalgam of ripe fruit, aniseed and wild flowers, which intertwine to create a charming and complex bouquet. On the palate, it is perceived as a fatty wine, with good acidity and remarkable balance. These characteristics make Més Ritme Blanc a wine that reflects not only the quality of its grapes but also the uniqueness of the Priorat terroir.
