Description
Le Coste Bianco is a natural Lazio aged white wine produced by the Le Coste winery in the Lazio region, mainly with grapes of the Procanico and Malvasia di Candia varieties, with a small contribution of other local varieties.
The grapes come from vineyards of approximately 20 to 50 years of average age planted on volcanic soils, rich in iron and minerals which makes the wine fragrant and fresh.
Winemaking
The grapes from which Le Coste Bianco originates are cultivated using environmentally friendly farming methods, paying attention to the needs of each individual plant and avoiding the use of chemical products.
The grapes are harvested by hand once the grapes have reached the optimum point of ripeness with a relatively low yield, thus producing concentrated and balanced grapes.
Once in the winery the grapes are fermented with indigenous yeasts and macerated with the skins for about 2 weeks in an open foudre and aged for two years in 500 litre used oak barrels before bottling.
Taste
Le Coste Bianco is wonderfully rich in fruity aromas. The palate is lovely, fruity, bright and intense. It is a surprising, structured wine that is balanced by good acidity.

Le Coste is a winery founded by Gianmarco Antonuzzi and Clémentine Bouveron by the Lago di Bolsena. Their vineyards are cultivated following the principles of biodynamic agriculture.
This wine is particularly recommended as an aperitif and accompaniment to rice dishes, roasted red meats and smoked meats.
