Description

Jules Bonnet Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut 1er Cru is a sparkling white wine that has been made exclusively with Pinot Noir under the Champagne appellation.
The grapes come from the oldest plots of Pinot Noir, this quality gives the wine a real charm.

Winemaking

After manual harvesting, the first fermentation and ageing took place in 228-litre oak barrels. No malolactic conversion was carried out and the wine was aged on the lees for 7 months before bottling.
The second fermentation took place in the bottle with a dosage between 0 and 4 g/L. The wine is aged in the bottle for at least 6 years or more.

Taste

Jules Bonnet Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut 1er Cru has spicy, fruity and floral aromas. The palate is frank but not aggressive, with a very fresh acidity, low tannins and a long and persistent finish with a mineral texture.

A creamy and ripe wine

This champagne reflects the potential of the northern terroirs of the Reims mountain with richness, tension and great ageing potential.
On the gastronomic scene, it is perfect at anniversary dinners as an accompaniment to fish and seafood. It is also excellent as an aperitif with foie gras or truffle toast or at the table with cheeses.
