Joan Rubió Obstinat is a red wine renowned for its great quality and personality. The production of this wine is limited and artisanal in order to preserve the sustainability and quality of its wines, which allows the production of a unique wine with Mediterranean character.
Its name refers to the persistent and unique personality of the wine, but also to the obstinacy and determination of the winery to preserve its quality.
Winemaking
The winemaking process of this wine is quite long, as production lasts several months and tends to vary a little depending on weather conditions and other factors that can change from one year to the next.
This is a wine that has a limited production and, therefore, it is common that it is not available in the market during the whole year, which is why it is quickly sold out, and even more so out of season.
The harvest for its production takes place during the months of September and October, and the grapes are carefully picked and selected by hand to ensure the quality of the grapes. After that, the grapes are pressed and stored to be fermented to produce this exquisite wine.
