Description

The Grand Beauregard Pouilly-Fuissé wine is made from 100% of the Chardonnay grape variety, grown in clay-limestone soils, which determines the peculiar flavour that characterises it.
It has a golden yellow tone that classifies it as exotic, but its greatest virtue is its particular flavour, texture and aroma, which denote the elegance of a good example.
It is defined as a powerful and balanced wine, with fruity tones and spicy notes that awaken the memory of the artisan work that this winery used to apply in its beginnings, but that it still maintains as a philosophy. Undoubtedly, it is one of the best white Burgundy wines.

Winemaking

For the vinification of this wine, artisanal processes are applied to ensure that the fruit is not only kept fresh until it is processed, but also that it can express itself in aroma and flavour.
Harvesting is one of these, where the grapes are stored by hand, so that they do not deteriorate in the process. After the harvest, each bunch of grapes is taken to a selection table in order to select the best ones.
After the must is extracted, it undergoes a slow alcoholic fermentation process, using Burgundian oak barrels. The wine is then aged for 1 year, then the best barrels from each plot are selected again, bottled and left to settle for a further 10 months, without filtering.

Taste

The Grand Beauregard Pouilly-Fuissé wine retains the fruity flavour and aroma characteristic of the Château de Beauregard winery. However, the double ageing process determines a unique flavour, where you will notice the presence of minerals, spicy notes and a silky texture.

A balanced and unique wine

The Grand Beauregard Pouilly-Fuissé is one of the few white wines that undergoes a double ageing process, which results in a perfect balance of flavour and aromas. It is an excellent accompaniment to stews, white meats, stews and fish.
