Description
Frontio Arbusto red wine is made from Tempranillo and Juan García grapes, native to the Arribes area, where the Frontio winery is located, which was born in 2016 as a result of the dream of the Danish winegrower Thyge Benned.
This fruity organic wine is one of his best creations, and its success is largely due to the effort to recover vineyards that are almost 100 years old, which are cultivated organically, with the utmost respect for the land.
Elaboration
Fontio Arbusto wine is made with Tempranillo and Juan García grapes grown organically and without the use of chemical products, on complex soils of granite, gravel and quartz.
The whole, unstemmed grapes are macerated for 10 to 12 days, then fermented separately, one undergoes alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in oak barrels, and the other undergoes spontaneous malolactic fermentation.
The wine is then aged for 10 months in oak barrels and more than 7 months in foudres.
Taste
Fontio Arbusto is an organic red wine with a fruity flavour, very juicy and calm. It is a dry wine, somewhat acidic, with notes of red fruits. The age of the vineyards and the type of soil characteristic of the area give this wine a unique personality.

This multi-varietal red wine is highly recommended to enjoy with red meats, cheeses, pasta and fish. You can also enjoy it with Iberian cured meats, poultry and rice dishes with meat.
