This is one of the prettiest wines in this portfolio and definitely the lightest in terms of appearance. The 2020 Etna Rosso Munjebel Contrada Feudo di Mezzo Sottana FM is a classic expression of Nerello Mascalese with floral notes, crunchy fruit and streamlined texture. It sees about one month of skin contact during fermentation in small batches with punch-downs. It's easy to let the grape's tannins dominate the wine if one is not careful. Frank Cornelissen has been experimenting with whole bunch fermentation since 2011.
