Description
The Dinavolino wine is a palpable example of the richness of the wine that can be found in the most traditional regions. This wine comes from the blend of the varieties: 25% Malavasia di Candia Aromatica, 25% Marsanne, 25% Ortugo and 25% forgotten varieties. These grapes come from vines aged between 10 and 37 years, planted on clay and limestone soils in a plot called Débé, located at an altitude between 350-450 metres.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand during the first week of September, and an intensive selection is made in the vineyard to ensure that only ripe grapes are used. Once harvested, all grapes are destemmed and macerated for 8-9 months in stainless steel tanks. Spontaneous fermentation lasts 15 days without temperature control, and the wine is bottled unfiltered, thus preserving all its natural properties and characteristics.
Taste
Dinavolino has an intriguing, slightly cloudy, darker orange appearance, almost reminiscent of beer. On the nose, a very aromatic bouquet unfolds, combining sweet honey notes with mineral and fruity nuances of dried apricot and peach. The hint of orange citrus intertwines with yeast essences, creating an olfactory symphony enriched with hints of citrus, minerals, orange peel, elderflower and sage. This orange wine invites to be enjoyed in such an authentic setting as a cow farm - an unforgettable sensory experience!
