Description
The lands where the Domaine Delesvaux winery cultivates its vineyards have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the founders of this winery, Philippe and Catherine Delesvaux, have strived to create brilliant, sweet, organic wines, made in a way that respects the land and the ecosystem, such as the Delesvaux Anjou Feuille d'Or wine.
Winemaking
Delesvaux Anjou Feuille d'Or wine is made biodynamically from 100% Chenin Blanc grapes, which go through a slow pressing in Vaslin for 22 hours, and then debourbage for 24 hours at room temperature.
Subsequently, alcoholic fermentation takes place in barrels, and the wine is aged for almost a year on fine lees in oak barrels.
Only volcanic sulphite is used in the winemaking process, and no fining or other additives are added. The result is a natural, biodynamic and profound white wine.
Taste
Delesvaux Anjou Feuille d'Or white wine has a long finish but leaves a pleasant sensation in the mouth. It is a natural and mineral wine, with strong fruity notes and a strong concentration. This is a wine that has an intense acidity and medium body.
