Description
Clos Dominic Blanc is a white wine made from Garnacha Blanca, Picapoll and Pedro Ximénez by the Celler Francisco Castillo winery under the D.O.Q. Priorat appellation. Priorat.
The grapes come from a vineyard aged between 64 and 100 years old, considered one of the best estates in Priorat, located in the municipality of Porrera at an altitude of 430 metres above sea level.
Elaboration
The grapes are carefully harvested and selected. When the grapes arrive at the winery, the vinification process begins with alcoholic fermentation in new French oak barrels.
The Clos Dominic Blanc white wine is aged for 6 months in French oak barrels. The wine is bottled without any kind of clarification.
Taste
Clos Dominic Blanc is a white wine with fruity and herbaceous aromas. On the palate it is very balanced, with excellent acidity and freshness. The finish is long and very persistent, with a fruity aftertaste and a soft minerality in the background.
