Christian Tschida Felsen II is a red wine that captures the essence of tradition and innovation. Produced in vineyards that are 30 years old, this wine is made mainly from Syrah.
Winemaking
Meticulousness and care in its production are evident from the very beginning, with the grapes being harvested by hand, followed by destemming and then foot treading. This traditional process guarantees the preservation of the grape's natural characteristics.
Fermentation is carried out in large vats, using indigenous yeasts and without racking. This wine spends approximately one year in 1,200 litre oak vats, ageing and acquiring its distinctive notes. It is bottled without fining or filtering, and without the addition of sulphur, reflecting a commitment to natural, authentic production.

Christian Tschida Felsen II reveals a yeasty aroma mixed with hints of plum. At first sip, it surprises with a slight tingle on the tongue, a characteristic that is not expected but adds an extra dimension to the experience. Its velvety body contrasts with flavours of pepper and yeast, offering an almost paradoxical experience. Although clearly leaning towards the savoury side, its complex character also embodies an intriguing freshness.
