Description
Camille Savès Bouzy Grand Cru champagne is a prestigious cuvée that stands out for its exceptional quality and unforgettable taste. This wine comes from vines over 35 years old, located in the heart of the Bouzy Grand Cru terroir. It is composed of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, both from the Grand Cru category.
Winemaking
The grapes are hand-selected in the vineyard to ensure optimum ripeness before being gently pressed, extracting only the best must from the first pressing. The must obtained is cold clarified before undergoing a first thermoregulated fermentation at 18ºC, without malolactic fermentation. The wine rests on the lees for 7 months in stainless steel tanks. Only the best wines from the annual harvest are selected to be part of the final blend.
The ageing of the Camille Savès Bouzy Grand Cru takes place at a constant natural temperature of 10°C in underground chalk cellars. The wine is aged in the bottle on the lees for a minimum of 4 to 5 years before disgorging and with a final dosage of 5 grams per litre of sugar (Extra Brut).

Camille Savès Bouzy Grand Cru is a round champagne led by red fruits. Its finish is very long, indicating great potential for improvement with age. It has a vinous, complex, balanced and sensual character that moves it away from the sparkling profile typical of other sparkling wines, bringing it closer to the style of the great wines.
