Description
Bertha Siglo XXI Brut Rosé is a sparkling rosé wine made from Pinot Noir by the Bertha winery in the Cava region of Spain.
This winery is an initiative of Josep Torres. And it has its own style, starting its trajectory only 20 years ago in the heart of the Penedés region, captivating like no other a young, contemporary and open to the world public.
Elaboration
The grapes are harvested by hand. On arrival at the winery, the grapes are lightly crushed and macerated for a period of about 12 hours before fermentation, so that the must is in contact with the skins and the beautiful pink colour and aromatic concentration is achieved.
At the end of these processes, it is bottled for a second fermentation in the bottle, as the DO Cava canons stipulate, for a minimum of 36 months of ageing in the bottle with its lees. A long ageing!
Taste
Bertha Siglo XXI Brut Rosé is aromatically very fruity, citric, with hints of herbs. In the mouth it is pleasant and gives way to a fresh, smooth and complex palate. It has a silky texture and perfectly integrated acidity, light and easy to drink!

Bertha Siglo XXI Brut Rosé is a sparkling wine that has been vinified using the traditional method of two fermentations. It has a very marked personality and a fine bubble that rises in elegant rosaries- a delight!
In the gastronomic field it is perfect for dinners with friends, as an aperitif and starter to accompany rice, fish, Iberian acorn-fed ham, red meats with sauce, chocolate, oriental cuisine, soft cheeses, risotto, mushrooms and white meats in good company.
