Description
Allante Boulanger Sous Poids is a white wine that stands out for its complexity and balance, from the Jura region of France. This wine is the result of the collaboration between Matthieu Allante and Christian Boulanger, who have built one of the most secret vineyards in Jura. The cuvée Sous Poids is made from grapes grown on marl and limestone soils, following the principles of biodynamics. The vineyards, just over three hectares in size, are home to Savagnin, Chardonnay, and Pinot vines, although the Sous Poids focuses primarily on the Chardonnay variety.
Winemaking
The winemaking of Allante Boulanger Sous Poids is characterised by the use of indigenous yeasts and the absence of added sulphites, underlining its commitment to natural winemaking. After fermentation, the wine is aged in old barrels, which gives it a unique and authentic expression.
