Description
Agustí Torelló Trepat Brut Reserva is an exceptional cava that stands out for its unique characteristics. This cava comes from the Ubac estate in Sant Joan de Mediona, located at an altitude of 500 metres above sea level, this cava benefits from mountain viticulture in staggered plots with slate soils. The area of Vall d'Anoia-Foix, in the Comtats de Barcelona, is the origin of this organic and vegan cava, which is produced with hand-harvested grapes.
Winemaking
Agustí Torelló Trepat Brut Reserva is crafted meticulously and respectfully with the grapes. The grapes are macerated for 8 hours and fermented at a temperature of 16 degrees for 28 days with selected yeasts before the grapes are harvested. This process guarantees the maximum expression of the Trepat variety and the special characteristics of the soil of the estate. The ageing in the bottle with its lees is extended for 2 yearsin the darkness of the cellars at a constant natural temperature of 17 degrees, which contributes to its complexity and quality.
Taste
Agustí Torelló Trepat Brut Reserva is characterised by an intense, bright red colour, a prelude to its rich aromas. On the nose, intense aromas of strawberry and red fruits, typical of the Trepat variety, are perceived. On the palate, it is fresh and mineral, offering a balanced and pleasant taste experience. This cava is ideal to accompany appetizers, starters, sushi, Asian dishes, fresh cheeses and fruits, standing out for its gastronomic versatility.
