Description
AT Roca Esparter with the Clàssic Penedès designation of origin is a sparkling wine made using the traditional method. This wine comes from a single plot and takes its name from the vineyard where it was planted on calcareous soils.
Elaboration
Made exclusively with the Macabeu variety, this is a vintage sparkling wine. The base wine has been aged for 7 months on the lees in stainless steel tanks and then aged for a minimum of 60 months on the lees in the bottle. Bottled without shipping liquor.
Taste
AT Roca Esparter is clean and bright with a straw yellow colour of medium intensity and hints of new gold. On the nose, it offers a clean and frank first olfactory impression, being intense and complex. White fruit stands out against a complex and elegant background of brioche and spices, with prominent notes of vanilla, cream and elegant smoky notes.
On the palate, it is flavoursome, complex, vertical and elegant. It has a balanced and fresh acidity, is very mineral and harmonious, with a fine and creamy carbonic. It is ample, creamy and voluminous, fusing in the mouth the aromas of white fruit with notes of pastry and toast.
